Usually i can always find what I am looking for in the forums but not this time.
Here's what I have going on. I have a 05 V6 stang that i have change the look of my V6 to look like the GT. I'm working on the wire harness now and have run into trouble and cant figure it out on my own and need help.
This is what I am doing and whats not working. i went and purchased a foglight, headlight wire harness so i can have working fog lights and the GT light switch. I have put everything on and I dont have working fog lights. I have checked everything out once, twice and three times and I have juice to the fuse box but not to the foglight wires. I have head lights, running lights and park lights but not fog lights.
I would appreciate any response I can get. I am lost and dont know which way to turn right now.
Any suggestions from anyone????

 

You need to test for voltage with a multi meter to see where the power dead ends at.

 

Here is what I have done so far. there is power into the fuse box, power to the light switch and everything else except for fog light wires. I have tested the sockets and I have nothing to the fog lights but I have all other lights. Makes no sense to me and I have been working on this since Friday evening with no luck. do you know if there is a relay of some sort from the fuse box to the light switch?

 

I checked the voltage on everything and the one thing I could not get to move on the voltage meter was the fog light indicator. What is that????? and where can I trace this to.
