Default Interior light problem?

Hey everyone.

Okay, I have a 2001 Mustang Cobra with a minor, yet annoying problem. My interior lights and trunk light do not work. I have replaced the fuse for these lights and it blows almost as fast as I put it in. I know this means that I probably have a short somewhere. Anyone had this problem or know where to start looking for the short? Does anyone have a wiring diagram or anything of that nature? Any help would greatly be appreciated since I am tired of not being able to see when I get in the car at night.

Thanks

have you tried to find some wiring diagrams for this circuit? i would start there, and look them over, look for any more fuses, or relays, or anything that might go out

I believe there are 2 fuses for the interior lights, and if the first is blown and you keep replacing the other, youre chasing your tail. Pull all the fuses

Did you have anything installed recently or installed something your self? could be even a few months ago you may have installed? get a wiring diagram to find out what else is on that circuit and check those other items out.

Hey, thanks guys. I have pulled most of the fuses, so I will check for any others. Haven't installed anything that would affect this, so thats definately not the issue. Need to find some wiring diagrams now.

Well I ordered the Ford Wiring Diagram manual for 2001 mustangs that the dealer used to use. Hopefully it will help.
