Default Progressive springs or not?

Looking to lower my 07 GT. I am not into racing, I like the softer ride but want to lower the car. Which would be the best route to go? Progressive springs or not?

Progressives would probably be fine for you then. They work well on the street and even for handling, but if you are serious about racing then linear springs are the way to go.
