A few months ago my dome light was not turning off when I would close all the doors and lock down my stang

I took it to the dealer and they said the driver side door was not registering as being closed, and they fixed it for free (I think they just sprayed something on it?)

Now this dealer is closed and the nearest one from me is pretty far away, but the same thing is happening to my car again....the dome light is staying on and the car thinks a door is ajar when in fact none are.

I was wondering what you all thought could have fixed this the first time? wd40? Something more specific? I do not want to drive to a dealer or anywhere else, and would like to know so I can fix this in the future?

yeah just try some wd40 that should be fine. im not sure if you can replace it or not if you had to.
