Exclamation Here is a question? Wheel Related

Ok here is a good one maybe someone can help me with. You all have been very helpful so sar so here goes.

I just noticed today that the Passenger side Wheel actually sits further back in the wheel well than the other side. Actually far enough back that the tire rubs a little on a full turn.

I have had the car aligned recently and they did not tell me anything was wrong. The car drives straight does not wobble etc, so why would this wheel sit back so far???

This is something you are probably not going to fix on the internet.

Get under it and look around for some bend parts. Check the control arms, mounting points,

If nothing is obvious. Drive it onto something like a stack of boards high enough for you to crawl under. This better than stands because the suspension is loaded.

Plumb bob and measure. If something is out of square you'll find it.

Have you had the car since it was new? Has it been in an accident? Subframe might be tweaked..

alignment needs to be checked, perhaps the sub frame has shifted.............or maybe it was hit at some point, either way it shouldn't be that hard to resolve
