"Stance" and practicality
Hello all,
I'm considering installing Ford Racing "B" coils (F 460/530 R 170/250) (1.5", .875" Drop) on my fairly stock '89 LX. I'm going to pair these with '95 Cobra "R" Style 17 x 9 wheels (5.95" BS) from Late Model Restoration Supply. The wheel package comes with 255/40/17 tires and is supposed to work on this car.
Any thoughts from the group on how this will work on a car that is driven to work 2 days per week. I want it to look bad assed, but I don't really want to make the car totally impractical for Michigan's bad roads.
Thanks a lot for your thoughts.

those spring rates should not be too stiff. i had 650F/250R Steeda's that dropped the car about the same amount. i used 245/45/17's on the same rims. they were pretty stiff on the streets but too soft on the track. Looked real good though.
