Default idles too high! help

I changed the plugs in my mustang, I have an 02 gt.. After I changed the drivers' side, it ran fine.. After I changed the passenger side, it starts up and idles at 3k rpm, and drops down to 2500 and wont go below it.. I've checked my lines comming off of the air intake, which is all I took off, and they are on there tight.. Any ideas where to start? its gonna be a long night :/

On another note, if I press the gas, even alittle, it goes up to 3k rpm, takes a couple of seconds before it drops back down.

yeah, someone told me to use WD-40 and spray it around, once its sucked up it should change the idle.. I might try this next. I am almost ready to try and get the adjustment screw out for the throttle cable.

If it ran great before you changed the plugs then it wouldn't have anything to do with idle adjustment. Retrace your steps and check all your harness connections near the manifold. Somethings got to give.

Checked all the connections with the wires, everything is plugged in.. Even reset the computer hoping it would throw a code, it hasn't.. Sprayed carb cleaner around the hoses hoping for a pickup, drop, or even a red flag.. nothing, took the COPs back off, checked them to make sure they were connecting good, and still the same. I am about 1 step away from putting a bullet in it and putting it to rest.
