How can I install and load up the spring in a new regulator without taking my hand off? Thanks!

 

Um all i can say is good luck with that..And just how did you let the spring come out of the regualtor.

 

It was a new part and it came with the spring off..

For everyone's future reference what I did was mount the regulator to a board and cranked it one-half turn (a full turn is too much) then secured it by bolting up the motor. It's actually very easy to do once you've got it figured out and now my drivers side window is working perfectly FINALLY after two years of fighting with it.
