Default Tranny leak?

I have a late 2001 GT vert with the TR3650. I picked it up last year with about 1200 miles on it. No issues at the time, due to low miles. It's now at about 8K...still not a daily driver of course. Lately however I get a few drops of fluid coming from the "slot" at the front of the transmission. Any (good) ideas or thoughts? Gasket of some kind?

Default leak

No good suggestions? It was suggested off site that a rear main seal could be the culprit.

mustangs are notorious for leaking rear main seals, you need to determine if its oil or trans fluid, its probably the rear main seal though..

Default LEAK

Looks like oil, so it looks like the rear main seal is the issue. It doesn't leak a lot....so I guess the question is how long to let it go. Any idea on cost to have this done. It's not something I'd do myself.
