sounds sick man....and i know what you mean with the $$ thing...im going with full forged 4.3 with stage 2+ heads and intake, 218/224 blower cam, ported/2.93 pullied m112 with silencer ports welded up. car has no dead weight in it now, so it should do pretty damn good for a v6

Meh, really i'm not all that big on the mod. motor either. You can make power out of it and it's a decent daily driver even the 2v imho, but i don't know how to build them. i've never torn a Mod. engine apart, or a OHC design engine for that matter. i've got something else in the works though, a 347 project. I just need to get the body straightened out and primed, it's going in a New edge body style. You don't really see a lot of 347s in a new edge, atleast i haven't.
I'm thinking of just building something all out track, drag suspension, prostars, etc. it's just one of those dreams i've always had and hopefully by the end of this next year it should come true. I've got the parts to build the engine at hand, but i want to do it with someone who really knows his stuff and he's not coming from vacation until late february. Once he comes, then i'll find out what numbers i'm going to be looking at. The body is getting worked on as I speak. I've always wanted to cheap out on paint jobs but i'm gonna do it right this time. I spent nearly 5,000 dollars on this paint job (I got it bullitt green) and the guy is letting me store it at his place until april or so.
Just need more $$$ to meet my goals.

yeah I read some of your posts about it, Im impressed with what some you guys are doing. I would think it would have been easier for you guys to go turbo though? but m112s are a dime a dozen I guess.

m112 can also be done for less then 3 grand, so unless you build your own turbo kit your not really going to find one for that.

plus the car will whine louder then my 7 year old neice

well matt and nathan did this for a budget blower setup.....the m112 kit cost $2800 and a tma turbo kit is somewhat higher i do believe...and after i beef my setup up a little ill be making crazy numbers for a v6. im pretty sure it will see around 460-475 to the wheels and 500+ tq...on a little v6 street car lol

the goals on my next car will be stupid... dyno queen goals anyway, I doubt Ill ever run it that high, I have no death wish. I went for a ride in my buddys whipple cobra, he said it put down 680rwhp... I wasnt scared by it... however he did take to 160 in a 35... but just to avoid too much rambling I think that anything more than 500-600 is suicidal on the street (if you intend to use it)

Carb'd modular? Sounds expensive. My understanding was that theres no point to it..what advantage do i have on it for the money and time i have to put into making one?
