Bad Fuel Pump cause HP loss?

Default Bad Fuel Pump cause HP loss?
The guy at a local shop said my fuel pressure was low after startup, would that cause me to lose HP?

I suppose it could but most of all its gonna cause detonation cause there isnt enough fuel at the motor.....So in the end it causing HP loss
