Misfire Issues

I have a 2005 Mustang GT with JLT cold air intake with sct tune. My engine is misfiring in the high rpm bands. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Is it a custom tune or canned tune? Could be detonation up top, the cold airs really make S197s go screwey without the proper tune. Are you running the right fuel?

its a custom tune from ford racing, and i'm running 93 octane, but i am using stock spark plugs do you think that could be the issue?

How many miles are on the car? I doubt its the plugs

but i have had the plugs replaced because they burnt out

If you burnt the plugs the mix needs fattened up,,,NOW,,,before you burn a piston or bust a ring.
That tune needs to be evaluated for timing AND mixture.
