so i'm driving down the road and all of the sudden my airbag light started blinking. no beeping though. what would cause this? its a 92 gt.

 

mines always blinked but it doesnt have a fuse in it is this hwy it blinks?

 

Blinking is a signal of a malfunction in the air bag system, count the number of flashes and post them and I can tell you what the problem is according to the number of flashes. I believe no fuse will make it flash as well.

 

well, i just took the car out for a drive to count the number of flashes but the light is no longer on. i do remember that it was flashing in intervals. X number of flashesause:X number of flashesause:

theres no fuse in it now but i was counting it it didnt stay constant but seemed like 5? will try to put a fuse in tommaro we were worried it might go off with the fuse in?

 

just dont sit in the car when you swithc the fuse... good luck

 

Good point LOL. Maybe unhook the battery terminal. You REALLY don't want an airbag in the face. OW!
