Default LS1 Guys...Step Inside

So I have been looking for a reputable, REASONABLE LS1 shop here in South Florida. I am looking to install headers/cam and tune on my 04 LS1 gto. The only place I have found so far is Horsepower Sales and they want 3k to install/tune!!!! Any recommendations?

God damn thats a lot of $$

FWIW, my buddy just had American Racing headers installed and dyno tuned for his WS6 and it only cost him 700$, thats not including the price of the headers. I cant see spending 2000$ on a cam install.

Seems like a weird place to be asking about LS1 shops.

I would guess because he's wondering why you're posting in The Ford Mustang Tech forum? After all, your question is really off topic here...

Aside from that, wouldn't you get more informed responses on a LS1 forum??? I wouldn't expect many people here to know of any good LS1 shops. Consider that helpful, because that's really the honest truth. You wouldn't expect much 4.6 help if you asked on an LS1 forum would you?

I know for a fact that several well respected members here own LS1 equipped cars. Maybe they will chime in INSTEAD of you

I never said "none do", but rather "I wouldn't expect many people here to know of any good LS1 shops."

Regardless, this sub-forum is for Mustang tech. So you're off-topic anyway, but according to you it's the fault of others here who point that out....
