Best ignition system.
I'm doing some upgrades, GT40 intake, 70mm maf, 65mm TB., headers, h-pipe, on my 1992 GT 5spd in each ones opinion, which is the best (plug-in) ignition system out there for '92,where there's no cutting of wires involved.I was reading a review on the jacobs pro street ignition kit and it wasn't too good.Thanks...
crane makes good stuff. i don't think igniton boxes are plug in though. it shouldn't be too hard to wire 'em up as most come with directions. an aftermarket coil would be plug in as well as igniton wires. a new distributor is a bit more involed because you have to center it again and reset the timing, but if you have any kind of knowledge of cars you can pull it off.
Crane all the way.And the kit is plug and play. I have two crane ignitions for your car for sale, the hi-6 http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...earchType=Make 100.00 plus shipping,I used it for two months less than 1,000 miles and the other one I forget but its brand new and its plug and play.I'll find the part number on the other.I use to use msd but they would always blow up on me so i started using crane and there way better. The crane HI-6 has built in rev limiter that you can adjust so you dont need those stupid rev chips.
