Default Bumpsteer Kit

I am looking at buying a bumpsteer kit because of the way the car darts around the road when you hit grooves and bumps. How effective is it? What kind of success have you had with the bumpsteer kit?

I have the Steeda Bumpsteer kit on mine, I love it. It works great. I also run X2 balljoints and MM 4-bolt CC plates with bilstien shocks and roush springs

thats the same combo i had on my 94 GT and it was great. bumpsteer was eliminated and the ride was really smooth.

Thumbs up

I've also got the Steeda Bumpsteer kit, X2 balljoint combo with Steeda Comp Springs and I strongly recommend them to get a more precise feel through your steering wheel.

Are you sure you don't have some other issues with the front end? I understand bumpsteer very well and have also seen the effects of it ON AN ALIGNMENT RACK as the front suspension travels from full droop to full extension. Fact is normal driving on street will not full travel most Mustang suspensions.

What year Mustang and what is not stock on your car. Bumps can effect bumpsteer slightly on a lowered Mustang but grooves in the road making your car pull is most likely just from the nature of having wide front tires.

+1

bumpsteer is more of an instant jerk in the steering wheel.

To a point, but my bumpsteer corrected my "wandering" problem i had due to the geometry being off.
