Default Trying to blow a motor, need help.

Ok, well a friend of mine has a neon with about 60K on it. Its has a fully drivetrain warrenty till 70k. When the motor is cold it has a bottom end knock and goes away. The stealership wont fix it untill it knocks all the time. Having only 10k miles left he wants to make sure he doesn't go over miles. If theres anything that can be done to help speed up the process of a bad bearing with out doing something stuid and ethically wrong like drain all the oil and let it sit on the rev limiter till it pops. Im sure that they could see that and blame him and not fix it.

Any ideas?

Yea, i know its a dodge but everyone on it here has been nothing but nice to me as a new guy. So i figured id get your idea

haha, i think thats pretty funny, uh drive the hell out of it all the time bounce of the rev limiter any time you accelerate and run it hard when its cold, just make sure you change the oil before you take it in and clean it up, so it doesn't look abused. do anything and everything you shouldnt

well i don't want the tranny to take to much of a beating. i told him to rev it up when its cold, im sure the motor won't like that. What if say a little anit-freeze made it in the oil. I know bearings dont like anit-freeze(found that out the hard way). Does any one know if that can be traced, it i flushed it with new oil once it starts knockin

Rev the **** out while its cold, and kill it while its still hanging rpms... and start it again quick.. over and over.. that should toast it. Or you could crack the block, pour cold water on it when hot lol
