You might want to consider just installing a "shift kit" into your auto tranny.. It's an easy/simple mod & will make your auto tranny shift "firmer". Yea it's still an auto, but will be more "fun" and a LOT LOT LOT LOT cheaper than converting to manual tranny

They also have those kits (not sure if its the one your talking about GreyStang) that are very cheap and you can turn it into an auto/"manual". You can get paddle shifters.
