Default O/R X Pipe

I just bought a BBK Offroad X pipe and I'm itching to put it on.... But... I was told that if drive with out putting the MIL eliminators on your car will eventually seize up.... Is this true cause my Cars been throwing a code since I put an intake on and it's still running fine. Thanks

I have never heard of that before. If you have a tuner just turn the MILs off, if no tuner you can get them cheap from americanmuscle.com and they will be at your door really quick.

Where did you hear that from? I have never heard of it and highly doubt that could happen. I would just get the MIL eliminators, or like it was said earlier, get a tuner because you will probably want to use that more than just once.

The engine code is probably your downstream o2 sensor thinking there is a problem with the catalysts. Get a tuner and just have the sensors disabled, you'll get more use out of a tuner than you would by getting MIL eliminators.

I put a BBX O/R X pipe on and have no cells. But the pipe had spots in them for all of the sensors. Are you saying I might have to get sims down the line? Do they plug inbetween the wiring and the sensor?

Running an offroad Pipe will not hurt your engine in any way but it will make the check engine light come on telling you theres something wrong with your Catalysts because they arent there duh....If you get MIL Eliminators they simple plug in between the factory harness and the rear 02s and they trick the computer into thinking the Catalysts are working properly making the check engine light go off.
