Default Need advise on lowering...

I mean advice... I have an 04 GT and just odered my 18" saleens. I want to lower the car a small amount, I was told I could just cut the stock springs? Is it ok to cut the stocks and if so is there a certain way, also, which is better or does it matter, cut the stocks or order new lowering springs???

Its never a good idea to cut the springs!! you will have a bouncy ride invest the money and get lowering springs and have a nice smooth controled ride you will be a lot happier in the end.
