Yea there seems to be a status quo and if you stay long enough you will see me go against it... alot. Ill help you out. There is a clip that goes around the entire round tube. Unclip it and pull the hose/ inlet out and there you can pull the filter out. Put the new one in, hose back, and clip it. If you have any other questions dont be scared to ask, or ask me atleast.

And while your at it do this https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6-...-free-mod.html

There are actually a lot of helpful people on this board, its just the few retarded teenagers that think they have a clue tend to ruin the experience. Theres also a lot of bad advice as well so whenever someone gives you advice on something, make sure you check it out before messing up your car cuz of someone elses stupidity.

Welcome to the board

you guys took the first post the wrong way.

im on these forums quite a bit and have seen threads like this that are set up for trolling. everyone chill.

OP: pick up a basic automotive book and read away. just getting the basics down will give you a better understanding of everything else.

trust me....i wasnt either until i started reading.

there are books out there that put things in simple terms to make it understandable.

auto repair for dummies (lol i know) explains everything, even to the point how everything works. i suggest you start there or somewhere similar.
