Question Help installing K&N Filter

I have a K&N filter and i want to install it in the current airbox on my 06 GT and remove the flat filter. Is there a way to do this without taking the box off and just installing it without a K&N kit?

I have a cold air intake on my car, and I would be lying if I tried to tell you how to do it. There might be some plastic clips on the side or something of that sort. I can't really remember. You should try putting a cold air intake on your car. They come with good instructions. A K&N air filter doesn't really do much.

right now can't do all that... maybe later. i might just resell the k&n filter to someone who wants it then. not sure. i just can't remove the airbox off the car - have to install it inside it - make it still look stock looking for now.

clips or tabs that pop open are holding the top of the air box u don't have to remove the whole air box. google it.
