Question Shifting Issue

It mainly only happens in first and occaisonally in 2nd. If I decide to take off in a hurry and go over about 3500 rpm the car feels like it hits a bump in the road when I either put the clutch on or let off the gas to shift. I haven't done it enough to tell which it is since I rather not push it and find out the hard way, so I take it pretty easy in both of those gears. however 3rd and
4th I can run it up to whatever I want nd have no problems. If it's tranny related I would guess maybe my syncros are goin out(I have no idea what kind of driving this car went through before I got it) Otherwise, maybe my motor mounts need replacing.

Any other ideas, or do I seem to be on the right track?

Yeah, no traction control here. I have ridden in ones that do have tc and and never heard anything like that before. I mean it literally sounds like I hit a pothole or something.

Possability, but it sounds like it is coming from the front. Then again the damn suspension is so tight on that car it's hard to tell where it is coming from.

I'm narrowing it down though, I had to cut a little hard out of a driveway to avoid a moron pulling in, causing my backwheel to go off halfway up the curb. The bounce made me tap the gas a bit which made the "bump" feeling happen. So I doubt it has anything to do with the clutch.

Hopefully my differential is ok, but it's a good suspect. I just don't want this to become another car I am working on every other weekend
