On a 98 ranger, i cant get the lines off the fuel filter, i used the special disconnect tool from the zone but it wouldnt disengage the clips and i ended up breaking the tool, anyone got a specific brand tool they use or any idea if im doing something wrong?

 

Can you post a picture of the clip? Most lines use the tool. Others can be taken off by hand.

 

The clips are inside the steel line u cant see em
