I have a 96 Mustang GT and the temperature gauge is not working. I am trying to locate the single wire sending unit in the engine. The previous owner had an aftermarket gauge plugged in at the front sensor at the intake manifold but they were for the automatic fan. Does anybody know where the sensor is located? The only single wire I can find is being used as a ground onto the fuel injector bar at the right rear of the intake manifold. Is this used as a ground or could this be the single wire I am looking for?
