Not to be a jerk, but there is no way you'd be making 258rwhp with a stock cam, junk stock E7 heads and a junk intake manifold. Online calculators are not accurate. My AODE with full H/C/I made 271rwhp/311rwtq. With Nitto Drags, and a PI 2800 Stall, my best quarter was a 13.17@105. Your 1/8th trap of basically 83 seems a bit suspicious(I trapped 84 w/my H/C/I). Plus you are breaking a 1.9 60 ft on street tires and no stall converter and through an AODE. Sorry, until I see some slips, I'll have to call BS. Good luck at the track this week though.
Not to be a jerk! but my job is to find horse power when other people can't! It is what i do for a living.the mechanics of the engine is no problem but this being a ford and all my connections with electronics being with people who deal in GM I thought i would see who was doing what with these type of cars. Any body can bolt on parts but it is the guy that looks further than just bolting them on that finds the real power!I am sure that with the changes i made it was easily 20 hp more than what you did with the same changes. Not to be jerk just stating a fact. I have built bone stock 2bbl engines that have dyno'ed over 400FWHP and NHRA super stock engines that have over 600hp and NHRA stock that are well over 500hp!I am not on here to argue with you guys I was just looking for some incite on these type of street cars to help my son and have some fun.And again I am not making fun of any of you I am sure that you all are probably way better than me at what ever you do for a living! I have been building engines for 30 years. OH and as far as my 60ft times I am not used to cars this slow so I thought 1.98 was bad!! But shocks and pinion angle make a world of difference.Getting cars to hook on asphalt is easy! I have a 800hp Super Late Model that runs on dirt. now that takes a little work to get hooked up and to be quit honest I fail a lot at it. I don't no the RWHP on my dirt car but do the math there once 2200lbs @820FWHP.Our local dirt track is 3/8 mile and I have time trailed in the 14's there !

I am not doubting your auto knowledge. Why would you assume that you are making more power than I did with the same mods. In fact, I actually had a few more mods than you do. All bolt-on parts practically act the same. You really can not go wrong with which bolt-on part you go with(exhaust, CAI, UD pulleys,etc.). All we ask is that you post some slips and all this will end. I am just doubting your time because we have practically the exact same car. An AODE with stock heads/cam/intake is not going to run mid 13's and having 3.73's(I believe that is what you have) is not helping. But hey, prove me wrong! Please post the ET slips and I'll end my rant.
