Default bullitt springs?

from what i understand the bullitt springs when out on a 99-04 GT will lower the car just under an inch. i'd like to lower my car but the only thing stopping me is i'm afraid of damaging my headers. i think the bullitt springs wouldn't be too low though. does anybody know where to get the springs from other than a wrecked bullitt? does ford offer them, or does anybody have any other suggestions for lowering my car no more than an inch? thanks, CLAY.

Best bet would probably be check around on the forums and ebay, I think the Machs used similar springs also to slightly lower the car. Maybe browse craigslist too. Imo using those springs would be a waste of time but that's just my two cents.

ya i know, not much point to swap the springs out for not even an inch of drop but i'm afraid if i go too low my headers(long tubes) are gonna scrape the pavement in driveways and stuff. with my stock springs the front end sits at least 1.5" higher than the back. so i would like to get those out of there and drop it a little while i'm at it so i figured the bullitt springs would be the way to go.

I have the Eibach Prokit which has a 1.5 in. drop, and BBK long tubes. I've never had an issues.

You would be fine dropping it a little more, and it would look better anyway.
