I'm new to this forum and am looking for some help! I scrapped the Quad and Chopper ideas and have decided to build a motor to swap the current 3.8 with a 4.6. I have a 1998 with a 3.8 with 213,000 miles. It has been a really good car but I know even though it runs great it will not continue forever. The body is in excellent shape and I prefer it to the 99's on later. I want to build my own motor and am thinking of a 2003 4.6. Does anyone have any general suggestion?

your gonna need the whole wiring harness and a new tranny.Best bet to look on ebay and try to get a take out that is complete and go from there
