Removing Shaker1000 Subwoofer from 2006 Trunk

Removing Shaker1000 Subwoofer from 2006 Trunk
I bought a used 2006 with the Shaker1000 audio system and the subwoofer takes up too much room in the trunk.
Is removing the subwoofer/amplifier box in the trunk as simple as taking out some mounting bolts and disconnecting a quick connector wiring harness in the trunk area?
I haven't tried to take it out yet, so don't know what I will come across if I start removing the mounting bolts.
