Default Trouble with belt squeal

Hello, everyone!

I have a 98 GT that just started belt squealing on me really bad. The belt looked old and cracked so I replaced it but the squealing didn't stop. I think I have it isolated down to my AC pump, the squealing only occurs when the pump engages. I think it may be the clutch bearing because my ac works fine and the clutch engages and disengages properly. Is there any way I can make sure I have it 100% isolated? Also, is there anywhere on the web I can find the repair procedure?

Thanks!

It only happens when I turn the AC on.

and it stops immediately once you turn it back off?

sounds like you have some future compressor work in order.

Right. Like I said, I think it may be the bearing since the clutch and the compressor seem to work fine and I was wondering if anyone know a trick to tell me for sure, plus a place where I could find a repair procesure

i would put it at the bearing.

i have the same issue on my '65 with the power steering. Thing squeels off and on but i can grease it up a bit and it goes away for a couple minutes.
