Default efi swap questions

hey im currently building a 68 mustang and im planning on doing the efi 5.0 swap and had a few questions, can yall tell me the pros/cons of the efi vs carbed, i know efi will be more street driver friendly but right now mine is speed density... can yall lead me in the right direction on how to convert this to mass air, btw i have the harness and computer from a fox body that had the 5.0 with speed density

Carbs will generally outperform EFI if you have a good carb that's set up right(which most are neither). EFI tends to get a bit better mileage, and sometimes makes a bit more bottom end power. If you don't know how a carburetor works and how to tune one, then go EFI. Since you already have EFI you might as well keep it. The SD can be made to work just as well as MAF. Most of the aftermarket EFI setups are SD.
