Hey, I was trying to figure something out. I have heard stories about the origins of the GT500's name origins like how Carroll Shelby walked out of his office and it was 500 steps to the factory or whatever. Can anyone shed any light on the 1967 GT500's name? Not like it had 500 horsepower, had 355.
