2004 a/c issues
you have no leaks that you no of.. in a gm settup we have a expansion valve. it is a little cone shaped filter that traps metal from the pump and anything else. sometimes it will stop up and no freon will move past it... think of it as a fuel filter stopping up and the engine dies. it the same with your ac. if it is full to the recemended amount, then it should flow and cool. to much coolant and the compressor will not be able to pump. as to much pressure is created inside the lines. not enough coolant and it will not cool. it has to be in a green area or ok zone. but i am not for sure if ford uses this settup or not. did you fill it yourself or have it done. if you did it then make sure the compressor is engageing. if so then try letting out some of the freon, not suggested to do that as it is against the law. but try to get the pressure down and it might starting getting cold. hope this helps a little.
