So after 4 years of waiting I have finaly purchased another pony. 87 GT stock except for functioning ram air hood and 3 chamber flows. 104K miles. The car has been sitting for the past 5 years under a tarp in my friends back yard. It has a few minor things that need to be worked on but runs great.

I will have tons of questions to come I am sure but the one I am concurned with now is a fairly rotten smell inside the car. I had the interior apart to change out the heater core...fun... and cleaned the inside pretty good but did not shampoo it. Are there any good reccomendations on how to get rid of the smell?

Also the seats do not lock back I can push them forward without hitting the release with can pose problems when trying to stop. Can the seat's be taken apart easily and lubed to get this working again?

Anyway just glad to be back with a pony in the driveway.
