Im currently running the stock 3.08s in my 8.8". Wondering if anyone can tell me if the 3.55 gears (Ring and pinion obviously) will work in the older diffs.


I know 8.8s are all the same, just wondering if the 08 GT is the same style of diff.

also, is it worth swapping 3.55s into the home of the 3.08s (trans has a 3k stall and worked valve body)

 

it will work fine, but i would want a bigger gear than 3.55 in that auto.
