first off..sorry if posted in the wrong section, please move to right section if needed..

ok i was planning sometime soon to purchase the smoked headlights for my 96 gt. the thing is im not to sure of the best place to get them from..from those who have experience of purchasing smoked headlights, please let me know if their good or not and where u got them so i can get a good set and not cheap knockoff..thanks everyone

Your better off getting smoke headlight covers. So ya can remove them at night and actualy see.

^+1, that is what I have, they look good and I take them off when driving at night so I can freaking see. Otherwise, if you are dead set on smoking them, then I would suggest

i dont wanna have to take them on and off all the time..so would the black housing ones be better instead of getting the smoked ones so i dont have to put them on and off??

If you are lazy, then yes, you want either smoked lamps or black bezel (not sure if they made them for a 96). I have a lamp cover that you pull on and off, and it takes a whole 2 seconds per lamp, you stick them in the trunk and you slap them back on the next day. It is up to you.

its not that im lazy, its that i want something that can be permanent, instead of temporary on off kinda thing..just how i wanna do it..but thanks for the idea on the covers, just everyones different..

well even the removable ones you can leave on. I used to have a set for mine. now I have a new set of clear headlights and tossed the smoked covers a long time ago. The covers are cheaper and if you dont like driving with smoekd lights at night you can always go back to taking them off. But if you go with the smoked lights than you will have to completely remove them and put the old ones on. Also if you get the ligts and dont like them ya you can try to sell them on ebay, but in this ecomony it may take a while.
