My tailights have 3 seperate lights on each side. When I brake only the outside 2 on both sides light up. Is this correct. I saw 2 mustangs today similiar to mine and their inside lights didn't light when they braked either. However the bulb is a double filament. I would just go ahead and change the bulbs, but as you probably know it is a pain on this car.

Yes Just not when I brake.

 

thats normal.

the outside two are the only ones that should light up when you brake.
