?? GT VS S197 ??

Sorry, I know this is a stupid question to some of you, but I just don't know what makes an S197 different from a GT I can tell they look a little different ( or maybe the ones with a certian kind of body kit, idk ) I have seen an insane body kit..but in the description it mentions for an S197. and it is the look I am going for. And, would the body kit fit my mustang GT?

s197 is the chassis code ford uses for all 05 and up mustangs. Your GT is a 05 so its an s197 thats all.

S197 is the chassis style/model number for all the 05-09 stangs. Be it a v6 or v8, they are all an s197. 94-98 were sn95's, 99-04 were new edges (theres a more technical term but I forget it at the moment.).

oh!, wow, I wouldn't have figured that out, I searched on google, and just showed pics of GT's and some with mods and other places were not describing it, I should have known...lol, thank you so much!!
