Default Muffler Swap Question

I have stock exhaust so it's the 2.25" pipe. I'm thinking of two different options. 1.) swapping out to flowmaster super 44's or, 2.) slp loudmouths. The problem is that the flowmasters come with 2.25" in/out, and the loudmouths come with only 2.5". Will the 2.5" fit? Also, will the straight "glasspack" style of the loudmouths work with the exhaust or would pipes need bent?

The SLP Loudmouths are just too loud IMO.Whatever muffler you buy you could have a competent exhaust shop do the install and they can make it work.

If you want to avoid having a shop weld up the mufflers- the flowmasters are the way to go. However, there are other mufflers than you can clamp on as well.

I would recommend choosing a muffler that flows a little better, but still quiets the car down some. Both flowmaster, hooker and dynomax are good brands; than have your exhaust shop weld them up for a leak free seal.
