Default 1965 Mustang

Hey guys i found a cheap mustang that needs a little work it has been sitting for 10 years. What are somethings i should be looking for or can do to turn the engine over to make sure it hasn't frozen up. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/1247005984.html i'm checking the car out tomorrow and would like help i'm not as familiar with older stangs.

It sounds like the car is pretty well represented and will be sold "as is".A breaker bar and socket on the crank bolt would be all that is needed to check for a locked engine but I'll bet that the crank can be tuned by using the fan,if the belts are intact.
I figure a carb rebuild,points and condenser,plugs,oil change,radiator flush and probable repair or replacement,and a check of the wiring would be all that is needed to get the engine to run fairly well.
Sitting in a tent isn't the best way to store a car for ten years but since this is going to be a project (it IS going to be a project isn't it) you'll have time to fix things that pop up.

Once you get it running- you can figure out if any of valve springs need to be replaced as some of them have been pressed down by a rocker arm for years.

And don't forget belts and hoses.
