Default Guys, Please be careful!

I had to see something I never wanted to see today. I Saw a 18 yr old wreck a motorcycle at around 120mph. I was at my uncles house, the kid rode up and down the street 3 times, when he rode the 4th time, he went around the slight turn he went to the edge of the road, panicked, and jerked the bike back over, hide the ditch, and flew out into my uncles field. It was a bad sight....the motorcycle needless to say, was in a million pieces across the field the kid was throw way out into the middle of the field, and was messed up pretty bad. His family was there in a few minute, the live just down the road, It was his 18th birthday, he had never rode a bike before, and it was his birthday present. When I saw him fly like that, I just knew he was dead....he didn't have his motorcycle license, he didn't know how to handle the bike, and was going way to fast for any road! I'm still scared. Fortunately he was still breathing when the ambulance showed up, both of his arms and legs were broken, he knocked out half of his teeth, he didn't know where he was, and probably has multiple internal injuries. So please guys, keep the racing at the track. I do not want any one of you to end up like this, it can happen to anyone, no matter how much experience you have, in a car or on a bike...just be careful.

Poor kid, my prayers go out to him and his family. Hopefully he doesn't have anything major than broken bones. I was in a bike accident about 2.5 years ago. Slide on gravel for about 20feet before stopping. I wasn't racing or going fast just one of those dark roads that I had not been o before. I wasn't wearing my helmet either, dumb move. Had to get 44 stitches on my head and 22 staples on my knee. If I see someone on a bike I show them my pic and recommend they wear their helmets so they won't go though what I went or what my family went through. Hope he gets better my prayers are with them.

Man, that blows. I just had a motorcycle accident myself, nov 4 2008. Had two surgeries on my wrist. I was lucky I didnt hit my face, I was wearing only a 3/4 helmet. If I ever get back on a bike Ill have full gear. . Sucks man, I hope he recovers good.

What kind of bike was he riding? I'm guessing it was a sport bike, right?

It freakin better NOT have been a Busa or some other monster +litre bike.. geezus so many kids get themselves mangled or terminated cause they "think" they can handle a sport bike

I see this **** all the time and if you are that stupid to hop on one and do 100+ then you deserve it. Sorry. That would be like never driving in a car then getting a ferrari and going to the Autobahn. I have seen more wrecks and close calls then I care to. Part of me wants to see them wipe when they are weaving in and out of traffic and all of a sudden their rear tire starts to wiggle on them, suddenly they are about to loose control. Of course, you go down in the middle of a busy interstate, you are dead. I see at least 3 good bike wrecks a summer. I have nothing against motorcycles, just some of the idiots that ride them. I talked about this one in another thread, but one guy died the other night about a 1/2 mile up the road, was going 100+ and t-boned a van. At that point they are cleaning you up with a shovel and then using a firehouse to wash the remains off the road.

Just use good sense when you ride. kthxbai.

Let's see, no motorcycle license, new rider trying to haul *** on a bike his family got him for his birthday? New riders on big bikes usually end up in a massive world of trouble.

Damn....that sucks....hope he survives it...also a busa as a first bike was a bad move...

On a side note of things, one main reasons i have never tryed buying a bike.... my brother loves them but has crashed 4 (all people hitting him) Still rides them but after seeing his accident photos it makes me never want to ride one X_X;;

Poor kid he should gotten a 600(used) at least...and maybe go to a driver school for the bike at least...
