Default Bullitt Suspension Kit

Has anyone here bought the Bullitt Suspension Kit from MustangSuspension.com? I've got an '02 GT, stock.

Looks like a good deal to me for $400.00. I'm on a tight budget.

Comes with (4) Ford Racing Bullitt Springs, (4) Tokiko Shocks and Struts, Front and Rear Swaybars.

This plus their Polyurethane Spring Isolators and Prothane Offset Rack Bushings is what I am looking at, should make for a little bit stiffer and more accurate setup than stock.

It's only supposed to lower the car like .75" which is fine with me. It's my daily driver.

How stiff do you guys think this would be?

Any additional input or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Vince

Depends on the spring rate, cant imagine it would be too stiff if it only lowers the car .75"

Their site says that the spring rate and drop is very similar to the Ford Racing "C" Springs.

Spring Rating: 650 lb./in. front - 200/300 lb./in. rear (equal to our popular Steeda Sport Springs) Lowers car 1.2 inches front, 1 inch rear.

I've heard that this kit doesn't actually lower it that much, but I could be wrong!

Well its gonna be a rougher ride, anytime you lower any this always happens. If theyre like the motorsport spring then i wouldnt really worry to much about it, and the measurements you gave is the same as the eibach prokit which is a street spring so its not too rough.

Great. Thanks alot.

I figured that it wouldn't be too rough a ride since it came on the production Bullitts.

As soon as I scrape up some cash, it's MINE!

Thanks again,
Vince
