can anyone tell me where the tach in a 99 cobra gets its input,I can't find it in the service manual I have. Any help greatly appreciated.

 

four wires are for the tach.

red/yellow- hot in run or start power fuse 15 10amp
tan/yellow- PCM
black/yellow- ground
blac/white- ground

info from hays repair manual 94-04 pg 12-25 typical engine warning system. Still researching more if this inst it.

 

pg 12-23 typical 4.6L DOHC 4V engine control system also shows the tan/yellow going to orange/white but still into PCM with the red/yellow as power
