question about stock temp/oil vs aftermarket
i havent had my mustang long the guy who had it before me had aftermarket oil temp and tach gauges installed. i dont like where he had the oil and temp at...he had the cd player on the bottom and the gauges in the area between the cd player and the hvac. another thing i dont like is the fact that now i have no use for the stock gauges but they are still right there in my face.....is there any solution for this? if not then im just gonna lose the aftermarket gauges and hook up the stock oil and temp...the stock tach is still working right along with the aftermarket.

There are many solutions to this problem. You could remove these gauges and re-locate them if you want or remove them all together if you trace it to its hook up.If they are electric gauges its as easy as removing wires, mechanical will require plugging the NPT ports they extrude from. I agree with you on the tach, I never understood why people did that... Aftermarket IS more accurate but on a street car a hundred RPM means nothing, use the stocker and sell the other.

before i took the faze tach off it was running the same as the stock. now im just having issues with the stock temp that when i turn the car off it goes all the way past the H and when i start the car it goes all the way back to the C and will extremely slowly go to just before the N
