Welcome to Mustangforums!

Most Mustangs have an abundance of after market parts. You can't go wrong with a Fox Body, SN95 or S197. I guess it just depends on what body style you like and what mods you are going to be doing.

if you are just looking for something to have and toy around with on the weekend and be able to mod it and make some good power for a decent price then you should probably be looking at the 5.0 fox bodys (79-93). They are pretty cheap to get started into, and can easily make loads of power. they are easy to work on and parts are everywhere for them.

I would agree fox body or even some sn95 mustang's,just besure to have the car checked out be for you buy it most of the fox body cars have been beaten to death.with that being said just take your time you can find some decent fox body cars out there, also there is a boat loud of after market parts for these cars as well.

for drag racing a fox body... for street a sn-95 (1994-04). The sn-95 has the most aftermarket support, but the fox is easier to work on... its a toss up.

I'm not really into drag racing anymore.. maybe a trackday if the car handles well enough

I always liked the 1991-ish body style so I guess I would be looking for a 87-93?
