Default t-5 trans conversion

I have an 83 mustang glx with a 3.8l 4 speed automatic and i want too put in a t-5 trans. im wondering whaat all i will needtoo do to convert it over? i understand i first need too install a cluch petal and line but im wonderin that if that since the t5 is a 5.0 trans will it bolt up too my 3.8 and if so will i need to convert anything since 83 is when they started putting the t5 in other mustangs??

You need a bell housing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-8-B...=p4506.c0.m245

and a cross member from a 5 speed car. You can buy the clutch and pressure plate in a kit. You will need a clutch alignment tool, which do come in many complete clutch kits.
