I have a 95 with a fiberglass two step cobra r hood. It has sliding hood pins on it now that are starting to rust. My car is orange with black head and taillights, so I was thinking of going with black hood pins. Does anyone know which ones are best and if I need to remove my stock hood latch. It works but its a pain in the *** to unlatch so I was thinking of putting locking pins and just remove the stock latch.

 

I have that same hood and my hood pins are starting to rust as well. I was just talking to a friend about putting black hood pins on it. I'm also curious as to where I could locate some.

 

I found some called Aerolatch last night that are black and the locking set is $100 shipped. Has anyone used them and how do you like them? I like them because they are flush mounted and they are not the same old hood pin. Thanks for any replies.

 

The Ford Racing ones are awesome. I've had them on my car for years they won't rust.
