so by overall power I assume that includes horsepower, like a couple hp increase? how many of you guys have changed out factory headers to new ones? As stated in the title i'm a newb but I want to learn, the thing I tell my kids is "there are no stupid questions, just stupid people who don't ask questions" lol

Hey 94gtinMi i like the SLP Headers. Im not really quite sure if they make them for ur exact stang or not cause i got a different year than you but the SLP headers look sooo damn good and are supposed to give u a pretty good power increase. I havent used SLP b4 but i like there exhaust already so if you want to look into these you can get the at somewhere like mustangtuning.com for like $850 which is about $100 off retail. They are fairly expensive headers but im looking into them for my stang in a little while. Heres a website so you can check out how they look at least even if these arn't the type of headers you're lookin for. http://www.slponline.com/ and also just to tell you the SLP Loudmouth exhaust sounds ****ing awesome so if youre looking to replace youre muffler check out those too!!!

Depends on the amount of HP you start with. The more you have, the more you will gain. I suspect you can get at least a good 15 HP or better out of long tube headers attached to the right exhaust. Ford even claims 10 to 14 HP more out of their shorty headers on a GT. Let's just say you would definitely notice a difference over stock.

All the aftermarket people play the same games so read carefully. Alot of wild HP gains are based on a '03 & '04 Cobra. Remember what I said about where you begin at with HP? Well those years Cobra's start life out at 390 HP! So if they just get 4% increase out of the use of larger headers, that would translate to over 15 HP with a Cobra. 4% of 200 HP is only a 8 HP difference. Densecharger CAI's (cold air induction) claim that they dyno'ed one of their systems on an '03 Cobra and got almost a 35 HP rise in power. But, then again, you are supplying air to a supercharged 390 HP engine. Everything is relative with power. Any kind of a header will make your engine sound more throaty and flow air much more efficiently which will increase your seat-of-the-pants sensation of increased power.

If you want to really have some fun, change the gears in your rearend to 3.73's or 4.10's! That is the single most drastic change in acceleration you can possibly experience with the exception of adding either a supercharger or turbo. THEN add some more little goodies like headers, TB, plenum, etc. and you'll be smokin'. Good luck with your ride!

...Although a definitive answer would of course require further measurements, published species-wide averages of wing length and body mass, initial Strouhal estimates based on those averages and cross-species comparisons, the Lund wind tunnel study of birds flying at a range of speeds, and revised Strouhal numbers based on that study all lead to estimate that the average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

(ya gotta love Google ) What do I win?

Yea if you get some long tube headers, x pipes, new air induction, and new exhaust pipes and muffler ull be gettin a ____ load of power from youre stang. And all those mod are just the stuff to start with for you and those are all fairly affordable mods. Youll have a damn fast stang if you get all this stuff now then hit it with a blower then a ford racing ECU or somethin like that for u to program the fuel system because i dont really like those superchips and stuff like em cause they are hell on your engine. Then you can upgrade your fuel system and u wont be able to not smoke the tires . LOL but all in all i recommend the long tubes!!!!!!!!
