Default Quick engine swap questions

This is purely theoretical at this point, I don't have the money for this right now, but it's a definite possibility.

What I want to do is take out the V6 from my 95, and put a bigger, more reliable engine in it. I've heard that the 94-95 6's are quite unreliable as their mileage gets up there, and I'm currently clocking in at about 94,000 miles. I'm starting to get some problems, and I'd also like more power.

What I need help with is deciding which engine to put in, and how to go about it, regarding all the parts I'd need and the shops I'd need to visit. Can I put in a 99-04 4.6 GT engine in my car? Or do I have to buy a 94-95 GT engine?

Let's say I bought this engine:

What would I need to do from there? Would I have to buy a new transmission also (mine currently is Automatic, I wouldn't mind switching to Manual, however, and would actually be eager to learn)? Would I also need to upgrade my exhaust from single to dual (I'd probably want to do this anyways...) as the GTs have dual exhaust stock?

These are just a few of the questions I could think of off the top of my head, if you guys have anything else you think I should know, I appreciate it. I'm looking to learn more about my car (I'm only 16, working 2 part time jobs now to start being able to pay for this crap) while getting more performance out of it. Once again, thanks for any help.

You will need new motor mounts, depending on wether you carburate this car or not you will need a new ECU, probably a new transmission, upgrade the rear end, v8 springs infront, and yes the v8 mustangs came stock with dual exhaust. You're going to need a cherry picker to yank out and replace the engine and quite a bit of tools. I know how you feel about being 16, I'm 16 also and I hate my budget!
