I have a 92 mustang convertible 4cyl.
I'm looking for info on how to change a convertible top lift cylinder the seal broke.
Ford wants 600 bucks, no other shops seem to want to touch it.
Can't find any info in the chilton manuals.
Not much luck on the web finding any info.

 

Go to your auto parts store and see if they have a Haynes manual. I love Haynes. They show pictures and tell you what to do. It should be in there. Check Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone.

 

I meant to say haynes manual not chilton's, I looked all through the book and there's nothing on the convertible top.
